  1. Frederick Haverkate Said,

    Dear Hugo van Neck,

What a beautiful piano! I just listen to the Chopin waltz, from my living room looking at water and a piece of park, the sun goes down, seagulls flying around ... And then your way of making music: deeply felt, sense of space, beauty of sound and spontaneity. My compliments!

    Frederick

  6. Ruud Vijn Said,

I had the extraordinary pleasure that Hugo van Neck due to my 70th birthday at my home eem mini-recital has cared. I follow Hugo several years from the sidelines. His CD "A Tribute to Horowitz" I have now 'gray' rotated. That he obeyed my invitation to my house to act, I found extraordinary. The expectations were high. He has more than she realized. Hugo is for me an old piano in the best sense of the word: as a romantic grasps it in the keys, he trusts his heart and soul to the keys. Chopin, Rachmaninoff and Scriabin to him than well spent. His improvisations are inimitably good. Both my guests and my wife and I were very impressed. I hope for many more years to enjoy his artistry.

  7. Stevie Passon Said,

I really enjoyed the concert of you with Thijs van Leer.
Here and there even some tears must wegpinken.
I loved it, and what an atmosphere!
The concert stage is a real discovery, a gem!

  8. JM Theoden Said,

    Hello Hugo,

I Recognize myself 100% in Jan Dogg To's comments. In addtion to getting top professional advice for buying the perfect piano we wanted and needed, we discovered an incredible artist with his own opinion and vision on composers and Their Works. As you know, my son's preferred composer is Bach, and, after hearing you play Bach, he Merely playing Bach Could not Believe That Could look so easy and obvious. Without even mentioning your great imporvisation / orchestration on Mozart's "Alla Turca" in duet with my son Philippe! Then I started to play one of Dvorak's Humoresque's and you continued with an incredible development based on the original score. I would not call it a variation ... more an "enrichment" of the original (with all due respect to Dvorak, of course!). Just amazing! What would have thought about Dvorak Such a development of his masterpiece? And you, Hugo, spent almost two hours with us, Pianists modest but definitely music lovers. When we returned home, we Turned the computer on and started to surf on the Internet. Then, we Understood the whole dimension of the person we just had with exclusive and the experience we went through. Thank you for spending thesis "musical moments" with us.

Jean-Michel (and Philippe) Theoden from Maarn

  9. Said Vincent,

    Hugo,

Thanks for the nice evening, my ears are very spoiled. First the masterful classical program of Igor, What a great pianist, and then a masterful piece of improvisation from you! Your last piece of Bach, Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring played was also very nice!

  10. Jan Dogg To Said,

    Day Hugo,

Today - 2nd day of Easter April 13, 2009 - we were in Culemborg to look at a piano or grand look. We had no specific goal in mind. Incidentally, you asked us a question if you could help us. Yes and no. See above. But let us on various wings hear a thing. I soon found that not only wings sold, but that you also playing right away knew it. When I did not know what I know.

I'm ashamed that I actually closing the sale early, with whom I had the pleasure. Naked came the reply. I am proud that old Monington Weston wing of you have bought. That fact may make something good of my ignorance.

Thank you for your game and your services!

Jan, Inge, Reinier and Iris Dogg Back from Leiden
